Progress. Connect. Respect.
The Nike SB app allows skaters to learn tricks, progress and challenge each other anywhere in the world.


Challenges

The skateboard community is often hard to reach and rejects new technology. The challenge was
to create a new way to learn while on the board and in the streets.  We collaborated with Nike to categorize and creating a clear path to progression while rewarding users along the way.

Solution
The result was a native app that that allows kids to learn from thier favorite pros using the phones accelerometer and footage from Nike SB Pro skaters. 

Kids also have the ability to play S.K.A.T.E. against anyone across the globe. 

To launch the app we created a media campaign along with a TV spot and a launch event. The event took place at the Berrics skatpark in L.A. where we locked Nike pro skaters in the skatepark for 24 hours to see if they could complete all the tricks in the app.
